The Einterz Team

Mike Einterz

Over the past 23 years, Mike has built a solid reputation in a wide range of practice areas including construction law, litigation, labor law, business, collections, medical malpractice and wills and estate planning.  Known for his accessibility and responsiveness to his clients, Mike brings a practical, down-to-earth approach to the practice of law.

“My role as an attorney is to solve problems, and not every problem needs to be litigated.  Great outcomes are produced out of a mix of creativity, confidence and passion.”

Mike’s trial background, negotiation strengths and candid style of advocacy form the foundation on which he builds any case. But his relationship with clients emanates from a clear understanding that the practice of law is a service industry.

“The key is to always remember you are serving a client. Provide all the information the client needs, give sound advice, and then do what must be done to best serve the interests of that client,” he says.

Mike holds an AB with majors in Chemistry and Philosophy from Wabash College and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis. After practicing in a large firm for 7 years, Mike established Einterz and Einterz in 1994.

Mike is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Indianapolis Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Indiana, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Indiana, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Indiana, Indiana Court of appeals, Supreme Court of Indiana, the Federal Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Outside his law practice, Mike’s competitive nature manifests itself in the form of weight lifting with his sons and an occasional round of golf.  He is active in an array of other sports and activities with his family.  Mike and his wife, Sara, have 8 children and 14 grandchildren.  He is a member of St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church in Zionsville, and President of the Board of Directors for The Caring Center of Boone County.

Michael Einterz, Jr.

Michael Einterz, Jr., focuses his practice on civil litigation, especially labor and employment law, and construction law.  He also aids clients in areas of business organization and management.  His diverse educational background, including majors in biology and economics and a masters in business administration, has given him a unique perspective with which to serve his clients. His scientific and logical approach to matters has enabled him to practice and excel in numerous areas of the law and has prepared him well to serve his clients with aggressive and creative solutions to business dilemmas.

“Creative use of the law has always appealed to me–I enjoy being able to look at things that are complicated and reshape them in a different way to benefit my clients,” Michael says.   To this end, Michael works to help clients optimally structure business dealings or resolve disputes to their greatest benefit.

Michael graduated magna cum laude with distinction from Wabash College in 2005.  He earned his MBA from Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis, and his JD from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis in 2008.  Michael is a member of the Indiana Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.

He joined Einterz & Einterz in 2006, where he found the perfect professional balance he was looking for – the opportunity to practice at a reputable firm that recognizes the importance of life outside of the office and the freedom to provide valuable services to his clients, regardless of their size or issue.

“Where those two grounds meet, I found a place that I could practice law at a high level yet maintain a home life. I am able to create solutions that work for my clients, not only those that serve the bottom line.  It is an added benefit that I get to work side by side with my father.”

While not in the courtroom or assisting his clients, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife Jen and his sons Quinn & Asher. Michael also enjoys taking on small carpentry projects, Yankee’s baseball, and working on his golf swing, which he claims gives him practice in patience for dealing with opposing counsel.

Zach Eichel

Zach Eichel is an associate with Einterz & Einterz.  He concentrates his practice in general litigation, including construction litigation, collections, landlord/tenant disputes, and employment law.  He also aids clients in personal and business finance and planning.  Zach’s diverse background in both criminal and civil law provides a wide breadth of experience which allows him to develop innovative tactics to resolve each client’s individual needs.

“I enjoy working with people to help them find innovative ways to solve their problems.  I get a real sense of accomplishment when I can present solutions that resolve even the most unique of circumstances.”  In furthering this outlook, Zach strives to counsel his clients in both preventative and reactive measures in order to reach the most favorable outcome possible.

Zach graduated with honors from Wabash College in 2005.  He earned his JD from Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis, in 2009.  Zach joined Einterz & Einterz in 2009, and continues to gain valuable practical experience in an expanding number of practice areas.

Zach is a member of the Indiana Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.  Outside of the office, Zach enjoys relaxing with his wife Kristin, his daughter Maggie, and their lovely dog, Gertrude.  Zach also enjoys running and cycling and is an avid sports fan, following intently the Indiana Hoosiers, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
